Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using FormFix (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is offered as a free, public website at formfix.vexr.dev and as open-source code on GitHub.
Description of service
FormFix is a collection of browser-based utilities for working with images, PDFs, QR codes, signatures, and other common file tasks. The Service runs entirely in your browser — no file you process is transmitted to FormFix servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will produce output suitable for any particular purpose (for example, official passport photos that meet a specific country's regulations).
You are solely responsible for verifying that any output meets your requirements before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormFix and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Service processes your files only on your own device, the Service cannot access, recover, or be responsible for your files at any time.
User responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files you process and for ensuring you have the rights to do so.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser.
Intellectual property
The FormFix source code is licensed under an open-source license — see the repository for the exact terms. You retain all rights to the files you process; we claim no ownership over your input or output. Brand names, trademarks, and platform names referenced in tool labels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe intended output dimensions.
Third-party libraries
The Service incorporates open-source libraries including Astro, Tailwind CSS, pdfjs-dist, qrcode, tesseract.js, and others. Each is governed by its own license, available in the repository or in the corresponding package on npm.
Changes to the service and terms
We may modify or discontinue any tool — or the Service as a whole — at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
